Inspired by the 52-Hertz Whale, ALIVE teamed up with Finnish graphic design studio to craft the Sea & City series. Infused with carefree, effortless lines, the collection sets out to encapsulate the whimsical doodles of childhood, forming a distinct space that seamlessly melds the majesty of the ocean with the vibrant energy of the city. Under the sea, there is another city where seashells line the sidewalks like trees, corals act as traffic signals, and conchs form skyscrapers. There are twisted crossings, starfish serve as neons, pebbles arranged to create an arch gate, and soft-shell animals that prefer to stay at home. Perhaps the world we live in is like another sea, where each of us sends out 52Hz signals, and only those who belong to the same world can recognize each other. |
